No, I am not talking about a child or even one of my puppy dogs, I am talking about my husband. He is a fairly new christian but he is growing by leaps and bounds. He was saved on November 27, 2004 at my grandmother's funeral (she would have been thrilled) and has been extremely faithful to church for the last year. We have a wonderful pastor who is very patient and helpful to a new and growing christian, especially for someone with my husband's background in the Catholic church. In El Salvador as in most latin countries the Catholic church is not just a religion it is part of the culture. As I have mention in a previous post my husband has become a soul-winner and as of last night he has had the opportunity to lead 2 souls to Christ, a father and daughter. This is a grand total of 5 souls he personally has been able to lead to the Lord.
Last night was the first night that we went together as a couple. I had previously been paired up with one of the other ladies and he with one of the men. This had been a wonderful training time for my husband and for me to get my courage back after being out of the Lord will for so long. I am so thankful for the freedom to be able to go out into the community and tell others about my Saviour. I am so encouraged by my husbands groweth and truly blessed to be his wife.

Hi! I just found your blog this morning through Bethanie at Desire of My Heart. I was thrilled to find another IFB, KJV-believing, soulwinning lady blogger! My dh and I are missionaries to Vancouver, BC, but we lived in north Texas for 14 years before coming here, so we're very familiar with TX/OK area and have lots of friends around there. I'm looking forward to reading more of your entries. I was very excited to read about your husband's growth in the Lord!
