First, I have to say that I was very disappointed that Obama won the election, but God is in control. I have prayed in the days leading up to this election (almost 2 yrs) that Obama or any other ultra liberals wouldn't get into the White House, but the Lord has allowed it to happen. GOD HAVE MERCY ON US! Unlike the liberals who have badmouthed President Bush since day one, I have respect for the office of President and do not wish to try and tear apart the man God has allowed to be our next President. I will be praying for our President-elect, VP-elect, Senate, Congress and any other leaders of your country. I hope you will be praying as well.
Second disappointment was at WW weight in today. I only lose .4 (less than 1/2 lbs. But I do know what areas that I need to improve next week, eating out, late night snacking, and drink my water.
Thank you all who have been encouraging me with WW, I think of you often.
Love & Prayers
Carrie

Don't let the scale be your master. As long as you take care of what you need to do today and do it well then eventually the scale will follow suit.
I would suggest reading labels and being careful about sugar. It sneaks in to things that seem right for you and your WW plan, but is really far too much - for example, organic yogurt can have 20+ grams of sugar or more per cup. That is way too high.
Hi Carrie. Don't get discouraged over your loss. Losing anything is better than losing nothing! Sometimes I think our bodies are stubborn and want to hold on. You'll do better next week!
I haven't said anything on my blog, but I feel the same way that you do about the election.
And don't be discouraged about your weigh-in. Just take it one day at a time and do the best that you can each day. That's all any of us can do. So hang in there. You CAN and WILL do this! :)
Hey we'll make it through the whole Obamanation thing, I'm disappointed too but God knows and isn't surprised.
BTW, .4 is a great loss, I'm sure next week you'll be blown away by your great loss.
Stick to it, it works!
Dear Carrie, thank you for all the help you were to me this past week. We made it one week now we will make it again. We knew it was not going to be easy but we will stay focused on this weight thing and we will get there with patience and leaning on the Lord for strength. connie
