I noticed last week that my rose bush was budding. Yesterday I saw my first bloom. YEAH!!!!! I photographed it just for you to see.
As I have said in past post that I can't grow anything, I am still amazed that in 3 yrs of living in our home that I have not killed this bush. The one thing I know that I can't kill is the "monkey grass", I love this stuff. It edges our driveway, shrub area, carport and front porch. My husband hates it and occasionlly mows it down in certian spots. I think is adds a needed finishing touch to spots that would otherwise be bald and ugly.

I hope you have a wonderful mid-week services tonight.

Hello I came here from my Mother in-laws blog, Mrs.Connie.
What a beautiful rose!
What a beautiful rose!!! Of course, I love any kind of roses. :)
That is funny what you said about the "monkey grass". My hubby doesn't like it either and keeps it mowed down. He said snakes like to hide in it and he doesn't like snakes! (me either) *Grin*
Thank you for visiting me today! :)
Carrie, where are you? I have missed you, sure hope you are not ill. connie from texas
Hey Carrie Girl!!
I'm so glad you came by and posted, we have tons in common.
Your rose is very pretty, we had a whole bush full until we had two weeks of rain and it killed them all.
