ME!!!!!! Not the most coveted award but a deserved one none the less. I LOVE to read blogs but find it very hard share things that I think peolpe might find interesting. I don't want to say that my life is boring because it is not but it is not overflowing with interesting happenings. I love my life in my corner of the world and would not change any of it except to add to our family. So here are a few things that have happened since I last blogged (I will post more about some of them later)...
May 1 & 2- Ladies Retreat in Waxahacie,Tx. Speaker was Rita Weaver of West Coast Bible College.
May 23- Celebrated our 10th anniv with a day trip to Dallas Heritage Village (fun but very hot).
Joined WW(in March) and have lost 21.6 lbs to date (lots more to go but little steps)
May 29-June 2nd- Parents & nephew came to visit.
June 9- Celebrated my 36th birthday
Dr appts- Found out have to have surgery to remove a plate and 8 screws from my leg that were put in 17 years ago. One of the screws is starting to protrude so the want to take out all my hardware. Surgery is scheduled for July 8th. I will have to be off work for 2 weeks and on crutches for several weeks (hopefully not months).
Preparing for my father-in-law to come visit from El Salvador, June 26-August 21, yes you read that right 2 months and in time for my surgery. My mother is coming to take care of me for a week after surgery. I am just a little stressed about having so many vistors and surgery at the same time and only a 2 bedroom house.
Thats all for now, I will post some more details and pics later

Wow, you have been so busy.
Okay...
1. Waxahachie is like home for me, I'm from Mansfield, which is just down 287. I jealous!!
2. Never been to the museum but it sounds like fun. I have friends all over Dallas.
3. I've also been doing WW for a while but recently switched to South Beach. I'm down 20 lbs too and still have a lot to go.
4. No parents came to visit us....
5. We're almost the same age, I'm 35!
6. Okay so there isn't a number 6, I don't need surgery or have family from El Salvador so we don't have that in common.
You have a good excuse for being so busy!! °Ü°
Dear Carrie, I love it when you post. It sure makes me wonder a little more about the short sentences you wrote though.lol
I am from Athens.Texas. Do you know where that is? I bet you do.
Happy belated anniversary. I hope it was a good one.
I will be praying for you on the surgery you are to have on July 8th.
I would be a little stressed over all the company when I am not up to doing all the things that I would normally do but God knew this is the way it would be and he didn't panic so neither should you. Just relax and go with the flow. In a hundered years it want matter anyway. That is what my sweet husband is always telling me when I get a little stressed over anything.lol Hope all goes well for you. You keep on posting. connie from Texas
I am visiting via Candys blog as I see you mentioned S Oklahoma.... Me too, and then as I am glancing through your profile I had a chuckle, you see I was born in Kansas but raised in California, lived in Texas for a year and now stationed here In OK. You have a nice blog and I do think you have interesting things to say, so blog away my dear blog away.

Hi Carrie...
I left you a comment yesterday, but it didn't seem to go through.
Anyways, Thanks for visiting my blog. It's always good to meet another IFB and WW member.
In one of your posts, you quoted Pastor Curington. Is that Steve Curington? and are you involved in RU at your church?
Well hello there! I was happy to have a comment from you this morning. Thanks for the prayers.

Thanks for visiting my blog, Carrie! It's nice to meet you. I hope you write some more soon so I can get to know you more.
I don't post as often as I'd like on my "Glorify" blog, but you can come check out my other blog any time :)
Hi Carrie,
Thank you for stopping by to visit! I appreciate your prayers for Carissa. She is recovering much faster at home.
I hope your surgery was a success. In May, I had some hardware installed in my lower back. Hope it holds up til the Lord returns. :)
I also hope you will continue to post. There are lots of us out here that need to lose weight. Maybe you could share some tips with us.
