I DID IT !!! again

I woke up this morning almost giddy knowing that I was joining Weight Watchers again today. I so want to be successful and attractive for my husband.
I love the Weight Watchers plan because it is a point system much like a checkbook, spend your points anyway you want and when they are gone for the day there gone. I don't buy all kinds a speciality foods (except bread), I really just try to eat more natural or whole foods. Yes that eats up more points but there is something very unnatural about fat-free plastic cheese (I do buy these products sometimes but not on a regular basis). Portion control and mindless eating are biggies for me.
I am including a full view picture of me (not just a head shot) taken in July. It includes a wonderful view of my "the big, blue, ugly, didn't match anything boot" that I talked about in my surgery post.

So I guess this picture is my official "before photo".

I hope ya'll have had a wonderful day, I know I have.

Love and Prayers
Carrie

Best wishes to you, Carrie!

My SIL has been doing WW at home for almost a year. His goal was to lose 100 pounds and I am not sure how far along he is but I think he is down about 75+ pounds since Jan.1.
There are pictures of him on my DD's blog if you want to be inspired by his progress.

I hope you keep us informed how your doing and what you are eating. I want to lose about 30 pounds and maybe I can just eat low-cal along with you.

Carrie, I know you can do this! That boot won't be on there forever. :) Do you do any crocheting or stuff like that? I find if I can keep my mind on a project and my hands stay busy, I don't think about snacking as much. It's really helped me.

Hi Carrie,
I found your blog through Kimba's blog, A Soft Place to Land. I wanted to give you encouragement on joining WW. It's a fabulous program that has blessed me more than a couple times in my life, too. In fact, I was planning on going back this Saturday.

Dear Heavenly Father, we seek you out during this time. Please strength Carrie and be with her each step of this process. We praise you for the journey mercies you will provide.
Amen.

How exciting! I've never joined WW, but I did a similar plan on my own with great results. I hope you get victory in this area of your life and have lots to praise the LORD for!

Good luck with WW! I've often thought about doing the online version. By the way, how many points do you get each day?

I am back on the WW wagon too. And don't hate yourself for the amount of weight you have to lose. You are now on the road to getting healthy. That is to be celebrated. I'm rooting for you.

If I can pass on the biggest tip of what I've learned in losing weight this time is that today is all that matters. Don't think about the long haul because it will leave you feeling completely overwhelmed. But today? That is easy to handle. I don't think about the 200 pounds I have to lose (131.8 now). I think about eating right and exercising today. I can control that. I can do that.

Hi Carrie,
This is me, Auntie eM, the lady giving away the Beatrix Potter book. It is amazing to put forth your weakness and faith with hope on your blog. Weight is an issue that we all like to keep hidden. Ain't it true???
I shall keep you in prayer, and I may post a letter/article that I sent to my mother a while back having to do with this delicate area. If I remember, I'll let you know when I do that. The Lord draw you near to hear Him direct you in all your ways.
