Family Picture
This last Sunday was "Family Picture Day" at our church. Each year we set up a little studio in one the Sunday School rooms to be able to take photos of all the families for our church directory. For the last 2 years my family photo has been just me because my husband no longer attends. This year I REALLY wanted and true family picture, but I know how my husband is, so this is what I did. I gently asked him in a very meek way so that he knew that this was very important to me. In the past this in not how I have asked for things. Generally I pestered him until he was mad. This is not the way to get what you want because it rarely works and just makes you both mad and upset. Well my new approach worked (imagne that), he came with me to SS and church. Having him there to hear preaching was the main objective, the picture was just a great bonus.
